About me!
As a lifelong resident of Chenango County, I purchased this special property after the unexpected loss of my husband, Michael, in 2018. We had always discussed buying a home on the water for our retirement, so I saw the purchase as a way to honor our plans. It quickly became my sanctuary and a place for healing.
After extensive cleanup and landscaping of the property (which is always in process) and remodeling of the main home’s first floor, I turned my attention to the carriage house. The two newly remodeled and redecorated apartments blend rustic charm with modern conveniences that guests appreciate. This property is just too special not to share, and I hope you feel the same!
